Absurdly Observant: Three years of Hayden
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2015/02/three-years-of-hayden.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Three years of Hayden. I need to make this quick and get to bed, but I would be mad at myself if I let the day pass (too late - past midnight, dang it) without giving a birthday shout out to our little Hayden. I guess not so little anymore.sniff! Today (okay, yesterday the 10th) is Hayden's 3rd birthday. His birthday always sneaks up on us since it's not too far removed from Christmas and this year was no exception. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Me on Pinterest!

Absurdly Observant: Final finale!
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2014/12/final-finale.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. My finals are DONE! What a mental/emotional/physical relief to know that I don't have school work waiting on me every night. Ah! I am so excited! It really wasn't that bad because I enjoyed my classes and my new friends, it's just so much on top of so much! I truly believe this is where I am meant to be, I just need to soak up my time off and re-charge my batteries to start fresh January 12th! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Absurdly Observant: August 2014
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. Sorry I've been MIA from the blogging world but I've been immersed in the many, many, many books of my new world. I have been hinting at grad school for two years, and I'm finally doing it! More specifically, I'm now enrolled in law school. Hey hey hey! Here's how it all went down. So, in September of 2012, I signed up to take the LSAT in December. I got the study books and took practice tests and was all ready to go! Which means of course, I am no longer a stay-at-home mama....

Absurdly Observant: October 2014
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. Okay Back in the swing of things after returning from fall break last week. I did not get as much accomplished school-wise or life-wise, but that was to be expected. Onward! Only 5 weeks left of classes (hooray! Before the final exams begin (yikes! I'm trying not to freak out just yet, but the panic is looming. The finals are 100% of my grade for three of my classes and 80% of my grade for another. AAAHHHHH! Fall is flying by! Sunday, October 5, 2014. Also, this break has given ...

Absurdly Observant: April 2015
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Spring and school and life. So, it's mid-April and my last post was in February. That should give you some indication of how my life has been going the last few months! Good news: classes are done for the semester! Bad news: I have 4 finals (beginning on Friday 4/24) still left to tackle. Additionally, Saturday (25th) will be Lila's 5th birthday. Such craziness! More on that later. In other news, I was able to score a job for the summer! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Absurdly Observant: This is it!
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2014/11/this-is-it.html
Sunday, November 16, 2014. Oh, my friends. This coming week marks my final full week of classes. Hooray! I have one class on the Monday of Thanksgiving week, but then I am done and on to finals. I have mixed emotions. I am so glad that the extra work of reading for classes and writing papers will be done, but I am terrified for the final exams! I guess I'll just take them one at a time because that's how they are set-up, spanning over three weeks in December. Torturous! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Absurdly Observant: 2015 and the second half of life as a 1L
http://absurdlyobservant.blogspot.com/2015/01/2015-and-second-half-of-life-as-1l.html
Saturday, January 10, 2015. 2015 and the second half of life as a 1L. These last three post-exam weeks have been a mix of joy, relaxation, anxiety, boredom, frustration, and peace of mind. Is it possible to have such a range of emotion in such a small amount of time? I guess so, because I did. What do I hope for 2015? I hope for continued health and happiness for all of my friends and loved ones. I hope Lila continues to love school and learning and makes a smooth transition into Kindergarten in the fall.

I am still a mother. I still have to listen to the neighbor scream profanities and threats to his young daughters. I still have to hear, "At least you can get pregnant." I still have to hear the birds chirping outside announcing the arrival of the cold spring. I still have to feel the sun on my face, the same one that will never shine on Ro's little face. And I'm sad. I'm so very sad. Christopher and Tara Williams. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Christopher and Tara Williams. View my complete profile.

Been There.Done THAT. I had convinced myself that I wasn't going to be able to do this week's LIT simply because I think I'm fairly boring. But. I reconsidered after reading a few links. Surely there is something I can say "been there, done that" about? Let's give this a whirl. Met and married the man of my dreams. Finally got pregnant.at 40 (our first baby is due in 4 weeks! Earned an M.Ed. before leaving a 16 year teaching career to be a housewife (soon to be stay-at-home-Mom). Me and the mister. In re...
