After a week filled with leading class discussions, some tough reading, and other assorted tasks to take care of, the weekend was much welcomed. The weather has held up over this weekend so far and while it hasn’t been extremely warm, it’s been sunny enough to look nice. As an added bonus, I get to chill with my family for a night. Hurrah! I will be so pleased when this is all over. Ahhh such a late update! I’ve been so slow to update because we are all inundated with finals! I just submitted my second final, so I’m two down and two to go, and one of my finals is a paper which I’ve already submitted as a rough draft, so I mostly just have one final. Good way to end the semester.

Qawwali and art of Qawwali is inherited in Pakistani culture. Young one are trained at early ages and after continous efforts of several years Qawwal can perform this holy tradition.
