The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: Finish Out June
http://daveandkatiekirk.blogspot.com/2013/06/finish-out-june.html
It's what makes a Mom's job both exceptionally challenging AND completely MUNDANE all wrapped into one! NOT everyday can be an epic fail like the rainbow sprayer, but just about everyday comes with the task of having options for the boys to partake in, including LOTS of outside play so we don't melt into puddles in front of the TV. Taking It To The Trails. K, riding ahead and waiting for the rest of us. Bringing Up The rear - at snail's pace - P! Back At Home Base. Exciting stuff I know! Not necessarily ...

The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: August 2007

Week 36 - Update and Photos - belly shots and Dave! The Good, the "not-so" Good and the weird. . . . . So I returned from my 36 week appointment with some "choices" to ponder. . . . The GOOD news is that Kaiden is doing great! He has a healthy heartbeat and is growing/measuring right on schedule. Ha Ha first time mom over eagerness! Of course knowing what we know now about Kaiden's breech position I am glad I didn't go into labor! We'll keep you posted on how things go! And a view from the front:. Great,...

The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: July 2007
http://daveandkatiekirk.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
The Countdown is on! We are down to single digit weeks! So two weeks ago I was in severe pain and I broke down and bought a pregnancy belt and although it looks a little like a velcro version of a sumo wrestler's belt, that thing is FANTASTIC! New Developments. . . . Also he has started to have the hiccups, or at least I have started to notice when he has them, in fact he just started a minute ago and is well into the hiccup rythem as I type this. The sensation is really too funny! Hope everyone is doing...

The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: April 2007
http://daveandkatiekirk.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Week 16 - That was SO COOL! We have MOVEMENT and I FELT it! So we had our 16 week check-up this week, and when my midwife put the Doppler. Up to my belly it made the baby kick. It was the COOLEST thing! I guess the baby really enjoys his/her privacy b/c every time. We would start to hear the heartbeat the baby would swim off in the opposite direction. I hope this isn't any indication of how active the child will be once here - although with Dave as the dad Lord only knows how active this baby will be!

The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: December 2006
http://daveandkatiekirk.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Well December wasn't our month. But I am not stresing it! There is always next month. . . It never ceases to amaze me just how fast time actually goes! Thankfully I have finished yet another semester of teaching, and Dave and I are looking forward to some rest and relaxation over the holidays. And since there is no pregnancy I can have a Great Christmas and New Years with some of my holiday favorites! We would LOVE for this house to sell soon, that would definitely make the move a lot easier! OK here is ...

The Kirk's - Boys-R-Us!: W.C. Day 3
http://daveandkatiekirk.blogspot.com/2013/07/wc-day-3.html
Sunday morning was for PJs, coffee and lounging around as much as possible in our house. Dad and Giraffe Dax. Eventually the time came for Chad to head off to the airport to return to reality, probably a welcomed reality after the exhausting chaos and lack of comfortable sleep - we gave him Kaiden's twin size car bed to sleep in over the weekend - HA, shoulda snuck a picture of THAT sight! Dad and Chad and 'Wild Man' as Dad calls him snuck in too. Monday - Another Day of 'Ta Ta For Nows'. After we waved ...

Custom vent hood | lifewiththebs
https://lifewiththebs.wordpress.com/2015/03/05/custom-vent-hood
Life with the Bs. March 5, 2015. I can finally share our custom vent hood! We removed the dead microwave and cabinet. Then we purchased this range hood. Tim built a box for it, did the trim work, and added the additional tile (the grout is still wet in the last picture). Sounds so easy but it took a couple of weekends. I just love the way it turned out! One thought on “ Custom vent hood. March 5, 2015 at 11:46 am. He did a great job! What a difference it makes! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Next Post →.

Life with the Bs. May 8, 2015. I can’t believe that I haven’t posted in two months. I have some updates and one big one for you so stick with me! Nolan’s baseball team won the 5/6 World Series! That was pretty cool and he was excited. They even got trophies! I sprained my ankle walking into the garage. My ankle rolled and all my weight went onto the side of my foot. Ouch! It’s been two weeks and I’m still limping around. My foot is pretty colorful. I wish I had a better story! May 12, 2015 at 9:01 am.

Winter Break | lifewiththebs
https://lifewiththebs.wordpress.com/2015/02/25/winter-break
Life with the Bs. February 25, 2015. We left cold, icy Georgia last week for warm, sunny Arizona! We had a great time visiting family and the weather was awesome! I also learned how to fly with a 5 year old. Get two seats in a row and two more seats in the row behind it. Then put Nolan in the seat behind Janie. That way, she is the one that has to deal with tray table movement and kicking. She’s much more forgiving than strangers! We made a trip to Jerome, went to the Wildlife Zoo, and Cave Creek. Sorry,...

What’s new | lifewiththebs
https://lifewiththebs.wordpress.com/2015/02/05/whats-new-4
Life with the Bs. February 5, 2015. I wanted to pop in and say hello. No big updates but I have a few little ones. Tim and Janie attended their 5th father daughter dance. The theme was Candyland so Janie was in heaven! Nolan had baseball assessments and he’s an Angel this season. Let’s hope he behaves like one too! Janie is going to give swim team a shot. She’s not a super strong swimmer yet so I think it will be great for her! I read the Orphan Train. That’s about all I’ve got for now! Next Post →.
