About Me - Welcome
http://simplymellaphotography.weebly.com/about-me.html
More Fun (Trash the Dress). Thank you for visiting Simply Mella Photography! I'm a mom to three and a writer. I love photography and began taking pictures for others when my children decided to rebel against my rapidly growing hobby. Since beginning down this road, I've found more to love: meeting happy couples, playing with adorable little ones, coaxing smiles and capturing candid moments that might otherwise go unnoticed or remembered. Im not sure Ive ever had one of those. As for the laptop chewing, box tooling kiddos, crashing, shouting, etc.that would be the life I know. :-). Thanks for stopping over at my blog today. Its really too bad our one day of January warmth in New England has come and gone, eh? January 8, 2010 at 5:44 AM. For more, click here.

Melanie Haney: Percolating
http://melaniehaney.blogspot.com/2010/01/percolating.html
Friday, January 8, 2010. 2010 Huh. How did that happen? Wasn't I just holding my first baby? Wasn't I just the starry eyed MFA student walking onto campus and thinking this was the beginning of great things? Life has been a storm lately, leaving me with little time to catch my breath or write things down. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bio, Online Stories, Links and More. Melanie Haney: Imagination
http://melaniehaney.blogspot.com/2009/08/imagination.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. Now that summer has finally showed itself here in New England, after weeks of gray skies and dreary mornings with rain splattering our windows, I'm hoping to be inspired by the imagination and whimsy of my children. The novel is progressing, taking it's own turns and surprising me as I write. I've begun sneaking it in while working. In between answering inquiries about 401K's and minding my schedule adherence. Still I'd rather be chasing bubbles. September 8, 2009 at 5:56 AM.

Melanie Haney: Reading
http://melaniehaney.blogspot.com/2009/09/reading.html
Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I've been feeling swallowed by life lately. I write in my sleep and wake up feeling blissfully productive - without ever having touched my fingers to a keyboard. Characters flourish, stories gracefully arc, phrases turn themselves. The second is the time spent with my husband in a near catatonic state of television watching. Ok, catatonic is not a fair assessment as often I will exercise while watching, but still, it's the way my mind feels after watching an hour or two.

Melanie Haney: And I'm getting writing done as well...
http://melaniehaney.blogspot.com/2009/07/and-im-getting-writing-done-as-well.html
Saturday, July 18, 2009. And I'm getting writing done as well. Summer afternoon - summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language. Then followed that beautiful season.Summer.Filled was the air with dreamy and magical light; and the landscape lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood. July 18, 2009 at 7:57 AM.
