Tuesday, May 29, 2007. On Saturday we cleaned up the side yard in order to put bark there, covering up the mud and dirt that so easily gets tracked into the house. Monday, July 13, 2009. Our first ever trip to Bend, Oregon. My father-in-law always comes up for a July visit so this year while he was here we decided to take an overnight trip to Bend. We had not yet been to Bend, and since we have lived in Oregon almost 5 years now, we thought it was about time! Here is a splash of pictures from our quick trip. We really saw and did a lot of the amount of time we were there. I found the geography so intriguingly different than that of the Willamette Valley.

Tuesday, November 28, 2006. This morning we woke up to a light dusting of white all over the neighborhood! It was still coming down pretty good so we all hurried to get dressed and went outside to enjoy a few snowflakes. It was Jesse and Jared's first experience with the cold white stuff and they were very curious. They even enjoyed eating a snowball that their sisters made for them. Friday, October 27, 2006. HURRAY.Grandpa is here! Yesterday afternoon the kiddos and I picked up Asa's dad at the airport for a week long visit! The girls were especially excited to see him. As well as having a genuine love for their grandfather, they also remembered that he took them to TOYS R US when he visited this time last year to pick out their birthday gifts! Monday, August 31, 2009. During the month of August we enjoyed spending time with some of our extended family, many of whom we don't get to see as often as we would like. Family has always been such an important part of my life, growing up and as an adult. I am so thankful for each moment I have with those God has placed in my life.
