Adelaide in Blender: Rain on glass test
http://adelaideinblender.blogspot.com/2010/05/here-is-youtube-clip-of-rain.html
Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Rain on glass test. Here is a youtube clip of a rain displacement map made for Adelaide Grey. I have also tried to throw the rain as a gobo onto the wall as well as tidy up a few render problems. October 27, 2011 at 9:47 PM. Very good job. I like the vignette effect from the darker bookshelves. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Little boys" the book. Animator, illustrator, and writer of childrens books. View my complete profile.

http://adelaideinblender.blogspot.com/2010/05/bedroom-lighting-test.html
Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Monday, May 24, 2010. A simple render on an untextured model. Just checking out the lighting I need for this shot. May 28, 2010 at 11:12 PM. I like how blender has kept you interested in this project and is progressing it forward, considering you stopped working on it in the past. Lookin good, Blender never stops amazing me ha ha. October 14, 2010 at 10:08 AM. Im still struggling with interiors lighting in Blender, did you use the internal renderer? Little boys" the book.

Adelaide in Blender: Sliding skin.
http://adelaideinblender.blogspot.com/2010/05/sliding-skin.html
Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Sunday, May 23, 2010. This is how to create shape kleys (blend shpes/morph targets) in Blender using the shrinkwrap modifier and a vertex map to mask the effect. Sliding skin is necessary for things like eyebrow raises where the skin has to slide across the skull bone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Little boys" the book. Adelaide in Blender: Pinning an object to a vertex
http://adelaideinblender.blogspot.com/2010/05/pinning-object-to-vertex.html
Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Friday, May 21, 2010. Pinning an object to a vertex. I needed to pin buttons onto a deforming shirt and as I didn't want to simply skin the buttons to the armature, I needed to constrain them somehow. Michael W at blenderartists pointed me to this gem from the 2.4 Wiki. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Little boys" the book. Animator, illustrator, and writer of childrens books. Adelaide in Blender: Negative cloth solve.
http://adelaideinblender.blogspot.com/2010/05/negative-cloth-solve.html
Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Friday, May 21, 2010. It appears that while 2.5 allows negative frame numbers (thanks to aligorith), the cloth solve panel still only allows solves to begin from frame 1. Many studios rely on pre zero frames as a cloth pre-roll before the take starts. For clarity, action always begins on frame one. On a show containing hundreds if not thousands of shots, consistency is paramount. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Little boys" the book. View my complete profile.

Tinkerings of a frustrated artist. Saturday, June 5, 2010. Work on the gallery. I have been doing a little work on the gallery set. Just playing with materials and lighting. It's not nearly finished but these things take time. That said, I'm pretty happy with the mood of it. June 5, 2010 at 8:37 AM. An idea is to make a videos of a gllery of your own works. :D. Good lighting althoug. Which lights have you used? June 5, 2010 at 3:39 PM. July 30, 2010 at 1:44 AM. July 30, 2010 at 10:44 AM.
