Leaving Nanaimo to follow the TransCanada had me aboard the Ferry to Departure Bay, B.C. The crossing is about an hour and forty five minutes. This was my recipe for an awesome ferry ride. BS with other Bikers. Load up on the local cuisine, in this case salmon and poutine. Nap in the sun. Awake with enough time for a strong cup of joe and take a few snapshots.
