Sunday, September 1, 2013. Weekend at Deer Valley. Their energy was amazing and it was so much fun to sing and dance the night away. After an eventful start to the evening, once we actually got into the concert we were so glad that we stuck it out. We all agreed that it was one of the best shows we had ever been to and we loved every minute of it. Embracing the hilarity of our situation. Hot chocolate in August never tasted so good. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Bit by the reading bug. A few months ago my co-worker recommended a series that her and my other co-worker love. I was a little skeptical because they are "mormon books". She brought the first one for me to borrow and I have been completely hooked. Good thing there are like 20 books. Last night I sat down to continue reading one that I was about half way through and before I knew it I was done! I had been reading for hours. Hours! Your book group loving mother loves this post!

He's been in touch since then and seems to be doing well. This is a big step for him; we are proud and happy. Megan took great pity on her mom and went with her to get a pedicure. Caleb is still playing a lot of D and D. Luckily it is not always at our house. It is a good group of boys, though, and they seem to have fun. She sent me this.

Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Month 3. 2 Months Later. When I was 1 year old, I weighed 18 pounds. Jack is 4 months old. He weighs 19 pounds. We are getting really excited about this kid's future athletic career. I was really hoping my arm strength would increase proportionally as Jack gained weight. Sadly, this has not happened. My arms still resemble Spongebob's. I love dressing Jack in "big guy" clothes. Because, you know, "big guys" are always wearing shirts with cartoon cars embroidered on the chest.
