When you can cultivate active listening to what your customers have to say, they will tell you how to sell them. That tells them two things:. That you have the self-control to let someone else go first. That you want to know what is important to. Get into the habit of listening to your customers. Ask them what issues they are currently interested in and then find a way to fill that need.
