So today I was an awesome mentor and took my girl to a movie. That is right on a week night! Never would have happened in my house growing up. But those are different stories and times. So I had a personal conversation tonight with a co-worker: about love, life, marriage, and dating. He said "it is all a numbers game" and " don't get stuck in your routine of work and what ever you do". Only the RARE and lucky ones date 3-4 people in their lives and end up with their life partner. See as many people as possible. don't be a slut about it. Is it really a numbers game folks?

We are currently ranked 6th in the nation, which is great, and the most exciting part of that is that we still have a long ways to go, we haven't even come close to reaching our peak yet. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Well Friday rolled around and I took a deep breath after realizing I survived my first official week of school! I think I learned more in the first week than I did in 4 1/2 years of college :) I saw quite a few of my kiddos, didn't get to see all of them because with our scheduling we have to be in 2 different places at once. Here's to week 2 of school :). Saturday, August 21, 2010. I am currently going through round 2 of antibiotics for tonsilitis. I'm not sure if I ever was...

Tuesday, June 08, 2010. Well, I decided the next time I updated I should have a job. Well, hopefully as of Monday I will be officially employed. Not my dream job, but at this stage, I'll take anything I can get. I had a couple of different part-time options, and after putting hashing out the numbers, finally decided on one. I am a Mt. Hope Mustang! I will teach PE .6 time, so basically part-time, and be the head middle school basketball coach and the assistant middle school track coach. A little of me.

A little bit about our growing family. How did my child get this stubborn? September 13, 2010 in Uncategorized. Down…I think. One hour from the start of nap time, putting him back to bed 21 or 22 times (honestly, I lost count), and one incident of him putting his head in the toilet and blowing bubbles (yes that’s right)…I pray that he is asleep. Big girl, and big boy. September 5, 2010 in Uncategorized. Nora was 10 weeks old on Friday. Is that even possible? Doing great and getting bigger every day!

I haven’t found a good pic of Nora to compare with, but this is the best I have. (I feel like it doesn’t show their similarities very much). Tuesday, October 05, 2010. Really, where has the time gone? Things have been busy around here with master's classes, school, and keeping up with paperwork. 4 IEP meetings in 3 days, and it's just going to get even more crazy. I am learning to celebrate small victories. Today one of my kiddos who all I could get to do for the last month and a half is walk, finally sat on a scooter and we rode around. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. What happened to first semester? Wowthe school year is half way over. What the heck happened to the first semester? It has flown by that's for sure! I have learned more in the last semester then I did in a combined 4 years of college that's for sure. I haven't loved every minute of it, but that's how it is with any job.
