Maybe in their old age they are fearing there will be no Social Security for them to collect? And the dues were reasonable - $35 got you a fancy membership card, collector pin, signed picture, and newsletters advising what was going on (before they got online in the olden days). Wednesday, October 26, 2011. That pretty much describes my state of mind these past two weeks. Helpless to be able to DO anything to help Carmel. Look at that face. Carmel has a heart murmur. We found out how bad of a murmur by seeing a Doggie Cardiologist. It didn't take long after discovering this, that she had to go on heart medication, diuretics,. And special "cough" pills.
