Friday, February 18, 2011. This winter we have been a little ski-bummish. I thought I'd share some of our fun adventures. The picture above is on the flying sofa at The Canyons. Six people fit on this speedy lift. The Canyons also had a new lift this year that featured a heated seat and an orange cover that pulled down over you to keep you toasty. The place is pure sweetness! And speaking of Tricky, here he is! Man it's hard to get a picture of Walter! I think he was annoyed that I sneaked this shoot.

Tuesday, August 18, 2009. The Mortensen Family Disneyland Vacation. We stayed at the Excalibur hotel to split up the long travel time. The girls were so excited to stay in a castle. I ordered David a Cherry Coke at the bar in the casino. He had me take his picture. When I was about to snap it the lady bartender yelled out, "No, no you can't take a picture of a minor at the bar! Thank heavens for DVD players. We woke up in Vegas and by the afternoon we were in Disneyland. The one and only Mickey Mouse!

Friday, September 11, 2009. Lizzie and Her Make-up! If there is one thing that this little girl likes to do it's put on make-up! For the last few days it has been part of her daily routine. Thursday, February 17, 2011. I anticipate holidays like crazy. The excitement to shower love on my family members sometimes overwhelms me. So I made these adorable aprons so that the girls could wear them to make treats for Valentine's Day. On Saturday morning London insisted on making the ever so delicious cake pops. Monday, June 22, 2009. So I had a chance to hang out with Art last week for a few days. I fell in love with his house while I was there. So much personality in this little house. It had 10 foot ceilings with the little windows above the doorways and the most interesting iron doorknobs. It had big windows- they almost stretched from floor to ceiling.
