Melissa, Geoff and Mina. Saturday, October 25, 2008. For my birthday weekend Geoff and I met my parents up in the mountains for a nice retreat. We did some hiking and it was so beautiful! The leaves changing colors were amazing. Of course I couldn't help stopping frequently to take pictures, but I won't put them all on here :) It was great spending time with Geoff and my parents. We came upon this tree as we rounded a corner of the trail and it just glowed it was so red! See the previous picture also).

It was great to see everyone at my shower. There were friends from college and my singles ward, like Jodi on the far left; my family, sister Elisa, nephew Charlie, sister Cynthia and mom from left to right; and members of my ward like Winnie on the right. Monday, September 21, 2009. Here are just a few pictures of his life so far. Not a very good picture but this was taken a few hours after he was born. He was the chunkiest newborn I have ever seen! I was seriously in shock when I first saw him. It took me a minute to realize he was mine! He was two weeks late (yeah, NOT FUN! And weighed 9 lbs 8 oz! He has been my biggest baby so far. I had to put this one in because of how much he looks like Mason in this picture! Cute picture of his Chubby cheeks =).

Friday, July 9, 2010. Anthon and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in April! I was a lot of fun! I didn't get very many pictures though =(. First, we went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Sunday, January 9, 2011. It's been so long since we went, I forgot how we even got the tickets and why didn't take Mason. They ran all the way up! They were so excited. Their reactions after seeing their first home run =). The kids wanted to move around a little so we went to the play area that they have for kids. It's totally free and totally awesome! Sunday, January 9, 2011. Makenna started kindergarten in August. Can I just tell you.it's a VERY hard thing, having your child start school. I started crying a couple days before she started school and didn't stop until the first week was over! I couldn't even stay at home the first day she was gone. It felt weird not having her around! SHE was SO STINKIN' EXCITED though! Getting ready to walk to school =). I love my little girl and I'm so proud of how well she is doing in class. Check out my recipe blog!
