Shortly before our session I drove by a sign that read "102 degrees" and that was at 4:45pm! This Georgia heat is something else, but that didn't stop us! I've had the privelege of watching Madi grow up and she is such a beautiful and sweet little girl. She didn't run while shaking her head to see if it would make her fall down, she skipped and frolicked! Melissa's work usually manifests beyond the gallery walls. Working with constructed spaces, live events, moving image, sound and physical phenomena, Melissa combines and reworks these elements to produce an extended form of sculpture. Since 2011 Melissa has taught on the BFA programme at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford. Melissa co-founded Post Works with Matthew Butcher in 2008 /.
