Suffering in Nepal to be filmed. Newcastle Herald , May 15 2014. ON the eve of International Women’s Day, a group of Novocastrians is looking to shed light on the plight of disadvantaged women and children in one of the world’s most remote locations. A team of four Newcastle residents will head to Nepal on Monday to begin filming a documentary on the plight of the some 20,000 women and children who are sold to human traffickers from Nepal each year.
