Sunday, April 17, 2011. Labor of Love and a Blood Patch. Ahh, who doesn't love a good labor story? It's been 16 weeks since mine.and the further down the road I go I have more and more blessings and great times that take away my thoughts about the scary stuff. Let's just say I went into labor completely naive. But maybe that's a first time mom thing and perhaps that is the way it should be.but a series of unfortunate events led up to the greatest blessing I have ever known. 1) My water broke at home.

I got this recipes out of Martha Stewart's Cupcakes Cookbook. 3/4 C unsalted butter, room temp. 1 2/3 C all-purpose flour. 1/4 C fresh sage (optional). 2 t baking powder. 1/2 t ground cinnamon. 1/4 t freshly grated nutmeg. 1/8 t ground cloves. 1 C canned pumpkin puree. 1 C packed light-brown sugar. 1/2 C granulated sugar. Sunday, July 18, 2010. Me - almost 17 weeks. Tony - almost Grizzy Adams. Sunday, July 11, 2010. I've been in the mood to make some jam, so when strawberries went on sale I went a little nuts. Like 12 pints nuts. I figured it was best now to start making Christmas presents, since come Christmas I probably won't feel much like shopping or making anything! The jam turned out so tasty! Peaches went on sale this week - so last night I made strawberry/peach jam. Delish! 2 1/2 Cups Peaches (same as above).

Sunday, June 27, 2010. Today I am 13 weeks and 5 days along. It's odd - some days I really feel like I am showing.then other days not so much. I definetly look chubby, but not obviously pregnant. I am feeling great though! Tony is living up in the mountains. I miss him so much! I know I'm being extra emotional, but I just cry and cry when he leaves to go back on Sundays. It's awful!
