salembrookie: January 2013
http://salembrookie.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Tears, Lunch, Vegan Baking and a Nap. Is how today can be summed up! First of all.little Margaret is growing up so much. As I attempt to feed her breakfast each morning, some days go better than others! Bless her heart, you would think that her world had ended because I kept her in the chair longer than she wanted today. Ha! I actually had a hard time not laughing at this sweet, dramatic face! http://salembrookie.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 23, 2014. Yes, I just used a hashtag as as blog post title. Hahaha. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my life as being one gigantic hashtag.that I share commonalities with the world, but with my own uniqueness. Where to begin in describing my new life out here? Ha Living in such a place brings me so much inner joy. I am usually a beach-loving girl, but these mountains.they've made me a fan! Life in Pocatello is, welll, POKY! Considering it is a college town, this blew me away). No ...

Saturday, January 17, 2015. The academic journey continues. Bless the hearts of those of you who followed my blogging throughout graduate school. I recently read through some old posts, and mercy, was I exhausted. Pursuing a doctorate degree has been on my radar since I began my career in Higher Education in 2008. [Actually, it's been on the mind since 1996 when I watched my grandmother receive her Doctorate at age 70! My Doctorate journey began this week! I am on cloud nine that God has placed me in a P...

Thursday, April 23, 2015. These past two weeks have been about reconnecting with the girls and the ministry and getting a feel for how everyone is these days. I have really enjoyed my time and seeing what the Lord is doing. I was so blessed by Y volunteering to come out and clean my house last Sunday. On her only day off she got up early and came and cleaned my house! B is staying at home and taking care of the kids. We got good news about B's daughter this month when Renee's dad came down. He is...She i...

Saturday, June 6, 2015. Visits with Ma Mere. I am so fortunate to have a mom who adores being with her children more than anything else in the world. I am so grateful for having a mom who sacrificed other things in order to visit me FOUR times in the first 18 months I lived out here - on top of moving me out here that previous summer! I have to tell ya - I needed that in the first year. I can't wait for her to be back out here again this fall! When we were at the fair. Ha. I introduced her to eve...We we...

Many the Miles: Apprenticeship

Monday, June 22, 2015. The first shop we went to is a sewing shop, but they also do designs and patterns. I had never been there before, but as we walked in the owner immediately met me with a comment on how good God is to her by His grace. Have you ever met someone that just gave off a feeling of peace and knowledge of God? To say that K is excited is an understatement. She started this morning at 8am and I can´t wait to hear about her day! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

salembrookie: American Honey
http://salembrookie.blogspot.com/2015/06/american-honey.html
Saturday, June 6, 2015. It takes the shape of a place out west. But what it holds for her, she hasn't yet guessed. Get caught in the race. Of this crazy life. Trying to be everything can make you lose your mind. I just wanna go back in time. To American honey, yea. And the best part of living out west? Wide, wide wide (seriously wide) open spaces. My Sunday drives blow my mind. How can I not feel at home with God in such country? Labels: Life in Idaho. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a daughter,...
