My Journey: Life and Breast Cancer. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. I am in the “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me club! Hi, Sweet Peeps! I have lost track of how many chemo treatments I have had since I am now on a new schedule. I had gotten down to needing 2 more treatments and my body said no to that. I now have 7 treatments to go! With my previous schedule, Taxol (my chemo drug) was causing severe pain. Have I mentioned that every single part of my body hurt? Shut the front door.

My Journey: Life and Breast Cancer. Tuesday, April 2, 2013. On March 9, 2013, I was cancer-free for one year. For sure, it has been a year of ups and downs. Breast cancer was tough, and healing for my body was tough. But today, I find myself stronger than ever. I’m healthy and becoming more fit than ever before in my life. I eat clean and I work out. I elliptical, run, train for the next 5k, lift, cycle, and Zumba! I laugh, and I laugh some more! I am happy that my life is so full. Here’s to 2013!

I knew that God was able to heal me and I didn't want to entertain the thought of "What if He doesn't want to heal me? I don't know why we have to go through hard things in life, but I am certain that God doesn't give. Us these hard things in life. After all, what kind of loving God would do that?
