David and Natalie's News. Saturday, May 10, 2014. So I once thought we were a pretty healthy family. A few minor colds here and there, and that's usually it. But the last two months have really hit us hard! I don't think there has been more than a day where at least one child has been sick! It all started back on March 17th.5 out of 7 of us got a stomach bug that lasted 4 days each. But we didn't get it all at the same time. Oh no, we stretched it out over a 3 week period! At the same time? We'll see....

Saturday, May 26, 2012. Nicole is now a middle schooler! She had her 5th grade graduation on the last day of school. She told me that she is definitely ready to be in middle school now. The only thing she is sad about is that her 2 best friends will each be at a different school. Nicole with her teacher, Ms. James. She was an awesome teacher and Nicole was lucky enough to have her for 4th and 5th grade! Nicole with her best friends, Maara and Katie. They have been the best of friends since 3rd grade!

David and Natalie's News. Sunday, September 28, 2014. David already had his plane ticket, so I decided to be brave and adventurous and take the whole rest of us on a plane trip up to Utah too! Well, we were moving down the runway at full speed, just about to lift off, when all of a sudden there was a loud boom and the pilot slammed on the brakes! It was pretty scary! David and Natalie's News. Friday, April 17, 2015. Spring Break, Easter, Piano Recital, and a Puppy. Wednesday through Friday the kids and I went to the cabin. David had to work, but the Parnell's were there along with Grandma and Grandpa and Melissa. The weather was perfect! The kids spent most of the time working on a fort they built in the trees. One of the nights grandpa made a fire and we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. Claira just found the last missing one yesterday and enjoyed the candy inside!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Nicole thought she would take a try at the cross country thing. There is usually an elementary race before the middle school races. It was a lot harder than she expected, but she did a great job! She came in 18 out of about 80 kids. She even got a medal for being in the top 20! Sunday, February 26, 2012. Spencer, Elizabeth, and Madison at the photo booth at the Engineers Day put on by UK. Posted by Chris and Kim. Look what we found. The kids dug this up in our front yard. It looks like a cannon ball. It is very rusty and very heavy. It weighs 60lbs and is about 7 1/2 inches in diameter. We are not sure how a cannon ball got buried in our yard! It looks like it has been there for a long time though. Posted by Chris and Kim. It was a very long day, but very worth it for Elizabeth.

David and Natalie's News. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. First of all, David took me to the Piano Guys concert for my birthday and we had a great time. I always enjoy listening to their music, but to watch them was even more fun! It was a nice birthday present. And thanks so much Melissa for babysitting the whole crew for us! The kids all participated in a music program at the school. Never mind. My stomach feels better! He ran back upstairs, got back in bed, and slept the rest of the night with no problem!
