I happen to like the quilted block look for this baby shower cake, and it was my first time to have the nerve to try a few zig-zag loops for my fondant loop bow. Cupcake for a 1 year old birthday. Today, I wrapped up my cake business for an indefinite period of time. Thank you for all of your business over the past year and a half! I sure didn't think I would be launching a business while I was taking the cake class! I'm going to enjoy my summer off, and sneak in a few weddings, and go from there. My babies are my priority! Have a great summer!

Derby Invasion celebrated 10 years of sports, and celebrated with a big banquet, and they asked me to make the cake! Here I am, working away trying to get the finishing touches complete! Not many shots like these.and for good reason! These are hideous beep-beeps (as my son calls them) but they are fun for little boys! Kind of pressure-some to say the least!
