Tuesday, August 17, 2010. I'm in love with this Dessert Table setting featured by Crate and Barrel. Sage green and cotton candy pink were my wedding colors and we served pink and white candies in glass vases just like this. Makes me want to throw a shower! These green dishes are so classic and simple (they match my house as well). Wouldn't they look great sprinkled with some bright red dishes. Fun, fun, fun! Thursday, August 5, 2010. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. How can you go wrong with a description like that? I keep this dessert in my back pocket when I need to make something quick and impressive. It's perfect for a potluck and the ingredients are easy to keep on hand. This cake is very moist, and tastes great for several days. 1 box dark chocolate cake mix. 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz). 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup canned cherries (optional). Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A simple Italian soup that is light yet filling. Add tiny meatballs and you've got Italian Wedding Broth. 4 cups chicken broth. 1 cup orzo pasta. 1-10 ounce package frozen, chopped spinach. 1 egg, beaten. 1/2 lemon, juiced. Crusty bread, for serving. In a medium sized saucepan, bring chicken broth and water to a boil. Stir in orzo and frozen spinach. Cook for 9 minutes until pasta and spinach is tender. Just whip up some Spanish rice and pinto beans for the full experience. Having company? Start with chips, salsa and guacamole and you're all set! 1 store bought roast chicken (in the Deli section). 1 dozen taco sized flour tortillas. 1 yellow onion, diced. 1 jar of red enchilada sauce (I buy mine at Trader Joe's). 1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese.

Monday, August 27, 2012. It was a morning just like so many others. I woke up with a lump in my throat. My heart was nervous. my mind was full of prayers. I couldn't help but cry a little. I was fearful. I've been doing so well. but that morning. was my checkup with my neurologist. the worries that he wouldn't see progress filled my mind. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Sorry dear friends that I have been a little MIA during this healing process. It has been much more emotional than I expected. Yes I am doing well. Extremely well. If you had told me 6 months ago that I would be walking, hiking, swimming without a cane or walker I would have told you that you must have been insane.
