Friday, July 13, 2012. I realize it's mid-July, but I figure it's better late than never. It's been a busy summer. It makes me wonder how I ever get anything done when I'm in school and working. Every day flies by. It's been nice, though, because I feel like I'm productive every day but still get lots of relaxation/lazy time. On June 5, we flew to Seattle and boarded a Carnival cruise ship (I can't remember the name right now) and headed to Alaska. It was a wonderful trip! You can read more about it here.

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. The Story of How I Learned I'm Pregnant. This morning, I had a doctor appointment on base. I had scheduled it a few weeks ago, weeks before I thought I could be pregnant. I had planned to renew my birth control.hahaha. Instead, they confirmed what two at-home tests and the student health center had said - I'm pregnant. Could I be pregnant, too? Surely it was too soon to be feeling sick, right? Didn't that start after a month or so? I knew I couldn't be a month into pregnancy.

Monday, August 25, 2014. Jonah turned five this summer (yes, we have lots of summer birthdays.) We tried to take his annual pictures several times over the last month or two, basically any time we went somewhere pretty, but none of them worked out like I wanted. Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Yay, Elora is nine years old! I took a bunch at the top right location, but her brothers kept getting in the shot and I didn't feel like editing them out multiple times.). This spot had the coolest light. Saturday, April 26, 2014. Easter weekend was full of Easter stuff of course, which I will divulge eventually. But it also marked the beginning of sunset season, simply because there were two sunsets that were pretty spectacular right in a row that weekend. Next week it's supposed to snow and be gray again, but we won't talk about that. I tried to take a few pictures with the kids too, but.meh. Wednesday, January 07, 2015. River Merida was born at the end of last month, and we are so happy to have her home! Due to jaundice issues, she and I had to go back and stay at the hospital another two nights beyond the first three day stay, and it was really hard on her to not be held very much. Friday, June 27, 2014. Elora helped me finish a big project this month. Can you tell what it is? Yep, it's a jean quilt! We don't have any stretcher bars or fancy equipment to make it really nice and smooth, and the lines of yarn aren't exactly even, but it's done. Yay! I started putting squares together for this quilt about four years ago! This is the rumpliest section of the quilt, mostly because when I was sewing the edge I didn't notice the thread had run out, and when I re-sewed it I didn't repin it...
