One woman's quest to vanquish fear in the face of Esophageal Cancer. Saturday, July 30, 2011. And a PINK Fedora. Nancy and Jane came home with a Pink Fedora today. It's exactly the same as the purple, yet in a very fetching shade of pink. Thank heavens that opens up many more fashion options for all those exciting chemos and doctors visits. :D. And, Wendy was with us, which made it even better. I think we should make Saturday dungeon-running day. ;). Links to this post. Friday, July 29, 2011. Left there,...

One woman's quest to vanquish fear in the face of Esophageal Cancer. Friday, March 16, 2012. Thank You and I Love You. I’m having my sister post this. It will be the last entry into the blog. I’m gone, now, but what a wonderful time I had! Oh sure, the last bits were not much fun, but the great life I have had certainly counted for much more in the scheme of things. I do not have to tell you how much I loved and will continue to love each of you. I hope I showed you this as I lived. And as I have exhorte...

Must tell hospice nurse. Links to this post. Monday, February 20, 2012. I am sitting here on my La-Z Boy recliner, and may I say it is THE most comfortable sitting surface I own. If you want to see it, it's a Carlyle recliner. It was pricey, but oh so worth every penney. I don't want to fear it and I don't wa...

Must not Fear: June 2011
http://fearnotwoman.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
One woman's quest to vanquish fear in the face of Esophageal Cancer. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Sometime around Noon, my sister, Jane, called to tell me she could see huge billows of black smoke from her store. I hit the 'net and eventually discovered that a transformer had caught fire in East Mesa. Her store had had a couple of brown outs, and then lost their power. Just about the same time we did here, 2:15PM. I confess to quickly grabbing a sparkling water from the fridge during the outage because my ic...

Must not Fear: December 2011
http://fearnotwoman.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
One woman's quest to vanquish fear in the face of Esophageal Cancer. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Well, it's Saturday. It has taken me this long to get back to being myself. The Queen of Neuroses has been reigning over me telling me that the problems I'm having typing are caused by a brain tumor. I'm guessing it's more probable that I've had a mini stroke, considering it's just my left hand that can't type well. Oh, speaking of strokes, I'd better go do my Arixtra shot. I'm late! Ok, all shot up. :).

http://fearnotwoman.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
One woman's quest to vanquish fear in the face of Esophageal Cancer. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Neulasta - we're giving it a pass. Dr Fastenberg says we are going to skip the Neulasta; to this I say: YAY! We discussed to which hospital I should go, in the event I need to go to one. He says to go to Banner Baywood, which is great because both my Pulmonologist and my Cardiologist are there. I did just take a shot of my pre-meds. They are small bags but lots of them. :). Here is my bag of taxol. To which I woul...

Well, not QUITE back to Work. So I was there, and I got to see lots of folks that I love, and caught people up on my status, and it was a great time, even if I did have to get up early and go out into the cold&#...
