Melody's Little Corner of the 'Verse. Why are people antagonistic? Neil and I were out at Jade Tree for Monday Night Chinese(tm) yesterday. While we were having a nice little dinner by ourselves, a woman ended up arguing with Sophie, who owns the restaurant. The woman was stating "This is wrong. Last time I ordered the tofu wasn't fried." while Sophie was telling the woman "then last time they either lightly fried or incorrectly made your order.". Melody's Little Corner of the 'Verse. Father-in-law's in the hospital :(. Yesterday I received a phone call sometime around 4:00pm from my mother-in-law. Turns out that my father-in-law has many blood clots in his leg and has swelled as a result. Neil came and picked me up as soon as he could and we headed out to the hospita. Sunday, November 27, 2005. Amster to the rescue! In this episode we see how Amster can take an ordinary leftover Thanksgiving dinner and turn it into . well . warm leftover Thanksgiving dinner. A repurposed turkey dinner brought back to life. Pan frying really helped to drive out a lot of the icky moisture and concentrated the turkey flavor.
