Monday, November 16, 2009. So I finally finished my last Christmas present for my family in SC! I even got them in the mail today! This quilt is for my dad. I know it looks like a kids quilt but he is still a kid at heart. :-) My dad has his pilots license. And loves all things planes. He even flys. So I thought this fabric was perfect for him! I stippled the entire quilt,the largest I've done yet, because he loved the quilting on my niece's. Before they get here! Oh and I pieced. Monday, November 2, 2009.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. A few more things for baby. So lots of people seemed to be expecting little ones here lately. I usually make taggie. Blankets as shower gifts but this time I needed burp clothes and bibs so I thought I would try my hand at those. I bought a cheap bib from walmart. Monday, March 9, 2009. LOVE sewing but not cutting out the fabric. So, I'm teaching myself to sew and am enjoying it very much.well, that is except for the part where I have to cut out the fabric pattern. O.K. and the part where the 'disappearing ink' (yeah, right) tracing pen squirts on my red shirt and stains it! It is disappearing ink that has ruined my top by remaining, grrr. Is it bedtime yet? I do love my kids.I do! But, seriously, sometimes bedtime just can't come soon enough! Monday, August 22, 2011. First Day of School. Ryan and Gabe started school last Monday, August 15th. Ryan started 8th grade at Desert Hills Middle School and Gabe started 6th grade at Sunrise Ridge Intermediate School. I was more excited than they were. Gabe was pretty nervous but is doing well so far. I think keeping him focused and organized may be a challenge but we can do it! My Honey and I.

Saturday, January 02, 2010. Starting Another Primary Year. I've served in our LDS Ward's primary organization continually since 1999. OK, I did have a 6 week break in 2006 after I was released as Primary President, and right before I was put in as the Chorister. (Being the Primary Chorister is the best calling in the church! This is the song I've been singing all week - I begin teaching it to our ward's Primary children tomorrow. I have loved this song since it came out in the " Friend. Links to this post.
