Blogging about my family. Sunday, May 20, 2012. A couple of weeks ago we went up to Skagit valley to see the Tulips! Little did we know the main attraction for the kiddos would be the puddles! We had a great day - and got very wet! This was just the parking lot - the boys could have played here the entire time! We toured inside for awhile (while listening to it downpour overhead). Blogging about my family. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Christmas Cookies at Grandma's! We had our annual Christmas Cookie baking and frosting day at Grandma and Boppo's house! The cousins all had a great time cutting out their shapes and decorating their cookies! We let Emmy get in on the fun. cutting out a shape! And it's right in the mouth! Thankfully, Grandma notices! Poor, Emmy. just wanted a little cookie dough (who can blame her? Next up. frosting (and sprinkling! We absolutely love this tradition!

Blogging about my family. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. We celebrated Christmas morning in our home. our first Christmas in this house. The kids were up early and posed for the obligatory Christmas morning picture before they got to see all of the presents and open their stockings. Even Copper had a stocking. Then we had Grandma and Boppo over for our traditional Christmas breakfast (egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, bacon) & singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. and then we opened our gifts from each other.

Blogging about my family. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I thought I'd post the rest of the pictures from our fun snow days. Here is the snowman the boys and I made one day. Both boys getting into mischief. Hudson swiped the snowman's nose and proceeded to eat the entire thing! And Jake started a very fun snowball fight! Hudson back to eating snow! After our snowman lost his head, we turned him into a fort by building up walls around him. then Daddy made a sledding ramp coming out of the fort! She was in awe!

Blogging about my family. Saturday, June 30, 2012. We took the kids fishing a couple of weeks ago. well, Ryan took the boys fishing, I took pictures and Emmy rode along in the backpack so that she wouldn't go swimming with the fish! We went to a little trout farm for an easy fishing experience! And yes, we cooked them up at home! The boys got to be on the same soccer team this year! They had a great time playing for the Lizards - and Daddy was even one of their coaches! Nana is an amazing painter!

Blogging about my family. Thursday, December 13, 2012. We set out on our tree hunt in a new spot this year. a lovely tree farm at the base of Mt. Si. It was gorgeous and we had fun finding the perfect tree (it is not easy, by the way, to get all three kids to agree on which tree is the perfect tree)! We finally settled on this perfect tree. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We started our morning with some family time. cinnamon rolls, bacon and eggs and the Parade! The next day was Noodle Night!
