Day by Day with Gina. Sunday, January 29, 2006. During my unfortunate battle with the common cold this week, I have been reading A New Kind of Christian. And The Story We Find Ourselves In. From Genesis chapter 2- emphasis mine. The LORD God said, " It is not good for the man to be alone. But he wasn't alone- he had God, right? I will make a helper suitable for him.". So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.

Pretoria - A young American who was undergoing Christian missionary training in Pretoria was brutally murdered over the weekend, a mere four weeks after arriving in the country. His best friend, Eric Jones, found the body of Eddie Rector, 24, on Saturday. Both are from Suwanee, Georgia. Rector was murdered on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday morning. They beat him and stabbed him in the back with a knife. The robbers also broke his jaw.

Day by Day with Gina. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Through Space and Time. We went to West Virginia this past weekend. We drove for ten hours (12 total travel time with stops), spent two days in WV, and drove back Monday with a similar timetable. And I am exhausted!
