Day 16 - Walk smarter, walk better - Albergaria-a-Nova to São João de Madeira (19 September, 23.9km, 7 1/4 hours). On the other hand, there was an obvious loop in today's walk that took us off a lovely rural road, adding a few hundred meters along a dirt trail. Was it worth it? A lovely house across from the cafe in Pinheiro da Bemposta.
