Sunday, March 29, 2015. About 6 weeks ago, a woman at church gave us some "cabbage" plants. Wintertime in the South is a perfect time to grow cabbage, so we planted them right away. Well, we kept waiting and waiting. For them to grow heads, but they never did. So we thought that maybe they were a type of stalk cabbage- that is, until the same woman brought us some collard greens from her garden. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Yep, you heard right. Yesterday I got The Call from the school nurse. Apparently Emily and Nan had been itching their heads like crazy. Nan didn't have lice, just dry scalp. But Emily. she had nits. No live bugs yet, although if there are eggs, there should be at least one live bug, right? I had the nurse check Charlotte too, and Charlotte doesn't have lice, just cradle cap. Matt checked up and I'm clear, so it's just Emily. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Words At Our House.

Tuesday, December 16, 2014. A friend and I were talking recently and she mentioned how she felt like the days and hours and minutes are just moving faster and faster. She said she can never find enough time for all the things she needs to do. I had to agree because our life has felt so crazy since September! A dog, and spending time with friends, new and old, going to the missionaries, serving other people and answering their cries for help and we were running faster than we had strength.

Monday, May 25, 2015. Savannah National Wildlife Refuge: Alligator Alley. A friend at church suggested I try going in March. She's lived here for about 7 years and said that was the best time to go. Well, what finally helped was that Matt went on a hike with the scouts and Emily a few Saturdays ago and they saw 21 alligators! My dad and sister Hannah came to visit at the end of June. The boys feed off of other people's energy, so they were bouncing off the walls the whole time. Hannah had just finished a semester at college and wanted nothing more to sleep, but the boys weren't very accommodating :). While they were here, we went to the OKC zoo for their $1 admission day, but it was so hot and humid that we didn't last long. Kimball and rhino bums.
