Monday, December 31, 2012. 2012 year in review. 2012 wasn’t a great year for our family. I took a break from blogging in May, which was when all the crazy, scary problems happened. 8211; our 12 year old dog, Ashton, died. 8211; get a puppy, Nougat, a soft coated wheaten terrier. 8211; Ethan plays B minor little league, with limited attendance due to our crazy summer. 8211; Trent is home from hospital, but has home health care, and 3 types of iv anitbiotics. 8211; Went to our county fair, which we all love.

Sunday, January 29, 2012. More of a snowstorm Jan 20. I am still so shocked that happened. I checked my email confirmations and yes, I ordered it correctly. Then I had received emails saying I had picked up the movies and it showed 2 copies of The Help. I was getting ready to email them and noticed that the invoice for one of them was $0 and the other was discounted to 86cents! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Ethan the funny sleeper. He cracks me up when he sleeps odd ways. Found him with crossed legs! Saturday, May 21, 2011. Ethan’s Gumball Math Tests. He was passing some and then getting stuck on x4, x5, x6 taking 2-3 days to pass those. They only take the test once a day. There was another boy in his class that was pretty even with him, ‘T’. Ethan got to x6 a day before T, but he didn’t pass it. I think it took him 3 tries but he passed x6! I was SO proud of Ethan! So proud of my boy!

Saturday, August 27, 2011. Ethan’s Day of Fun. I wanted to take Ethan out for a day of fun before he got his expander on. Just an outing some places we had never been and he would like. This was way back on July 16. We went out to Lombard mall to Magiquest. He had tried it at Great America before and loved it. We paid for admittance so we could walk around with him this time, too. Saturday, October 08, 2011. Yikes, it has been 20 years since I graduated from high school. Oops, let out my age! My reunion ended up being just Friday night at a local bar that had a side room (but it is really nice and big place) They had planned the main reunion for Sat. night but it was $65/person and I guess not enough sent their money in so that didn’t happen.
