May 4, 2012. A Walk in the Woods. Today I went on an awesome field trip with Lilly and her class. It was a TON of fun and I learned a lot! Like if you are stung by a bee it's a girl bee. And the rings inside a tree are how many years old they are. And th dark rings are the growth in the summer and the light rings are the growth in the spring.or vice versa. January 25, 2012. Davy this one’s for you…. Okay so I’ve been MIA for awhile. I know, I know. Slacker. In my defense I have a good reason. Okay its more of an excuse but seriously sometimes some things have to give. Anyway enough with my babbling. Last Tuesday I dropped my pregnant sister, her son, her husband, and my parents off at the airport after a week of fun and frolic. Here are some pictures to cap the week. Girls on the Metro. February 13, 2012. My girls’ school does the coolest thing every year. They have a Dance Festival where the kids learn simple dances from around the country and the world. And the kids have a blast! And so do the parents :). Here are the pics from the event. The lighting was terrible and they were moving a lot so these are the one’s I’ve got *sigh. I really want to be a better photographer.
