The moniker given by New York Magazine writer Adam Sternbergh to 30, 40, and (gasp! 50-somethings who look, talk, act, and dress like people who are 22 years old. From this "obituary for the generation gap". Being a Grup is about rejecting a hand-me-down model of adulthood that asks, or even necessitates, that you let go of everything that you ever felt passionate about. It's about reimagining adulthood as a period defined by promise, rather than compromise. And being the oldest person at the Cordero.

Lo and behold, I ran across the news. That promoters were "stunned" when the Pogues. Sold out all but two U.S. shows almost as soon as the tickets went on sale. What rock have they been living under? Apparently the one next to mine. I hadn't heard that the Pogues are doing nine nights on the East coast. Fairytale of New York. 15 second...

While the G10 performs amazingly well during the day it doesnt do that well in low light. To get any sort of image I had to increase the ISO and use a slow shutter speed. I came away with some good images but a.

A journal of politics and culture, of personal memories and spiritual struggles, of faith and skepticism. We search for joy and justice- for meaning and for mystery. Friday, February 19, 2010. Thank God for Satan. THANK GOD FOR SATAN. Mark's telling of the story says the Spirit drives Jesus into the wilderness to face the tempter and to face the tempter alone. He was with the wild beasts—I guess that is supposed to be comforting. And the angels ministered to him. I know you are doing the audit for my tra...
