Memory Joggers: Back-to-School Know How
http://memoryjoggers-donnalyn.blogspot.com/2007/09/back-to-school-know-how.html
I believe that the secret to learning is creating a passion for knowledge in your child. When learning is fun and easy, and kids have tools to help them remember, that passion grows. I’m a teacher dedicated to helping children learn, even those with learning challenges. My blog is a sharing of memory tips that worked for my students. I welcome your feedback and ideas. Monday, September 1, 2008. Do they "know how" to add and subtract without counting on their fingers? Do they "know how" much 7 x 9 is?

A blog for homeschooling families. The Gratitude Challenge-Week 1 Part 2. November 7, 2014. Here’s a peek at an entry my daughter wrote last year. Home's Cool: Math Memorization
http://homeschoolmamas.blogspot.com/2009/03/math-memorization.html
Mar 2, 2009. Our oldest is doing multiplication in the 3rd grade. He is a master of understanding the concept of multiplication, but struggles with memorization for having the facts "at the ready". We use Math U See math curriculum, and I find it great, but was looking for additional information/tips/techniques and came across this teaching tutorial. I could see it just as easily used for addition, the other commutative math principle. March 2, 2009 at 4:07 PM. July 12, 2009 at 10:49 AM. Books On The Path.
