UC Davis Medieval Studies Student Learning Objectives. A student graduating from UC Davis with a major in Medieval and Early Modern Studies will be able to:. 1 Demonstrate broad familiarity with medieval and early modern history, societies, and cultural and religious traditions. Assessment: Final exams and interpretive papers from a representative sample of MST 20 A and B classes will be reviewed every three years for accuracy and appropriate breadth of knowledge.
