Saturday, May 30, 2015. Mixed Media Art Swap Spring 2015. A fun swap with my fellow Texas art friend Kristi! I decorated a vintage jewelry box with laces and ribbons. I tried out my new Brother SE Embroidery machine for the first time and made the pillow, small notebook cover and name tag. I filled the drawers with vintage goodies, perfect for mixed media art. Friday, March 13, 2015. Baby Shower for a Friend. Baby Showers are so much fun! A few friends and I hosted a baby shower for our friend's daughter. We had a great time putting it together! I made the corsage using a tattered vintage flower and strips of fabric and trims. The "Bubble Bath" Punch was made with Lemon Lime Soda, Pineapple Ice Cream, and Blueberry Hawaiian Punch. Homemade Bath Bombs made with Baking Soda, Essential Oils and Citric Acid. Blue Chocolate Covered Oreo Pops.

Saturday, February 7, 2015. Latest Projects for Others. These are two large canvases featuring siblings that I've created. This is a personalized photo album that I covered and embellished. The corsage is detachable. Here is a personalized journal I covered for an avid writer. Below is a hand painted box with an antique broach attached. The floral corsage has a rolled burlap flower with vintage trims and lace. Inside holds a variety of vintage embellishments, papers, glitter and fabrics.

Saturday, May 25, 2013. It's been quite a while since I've posted! I've been getting ready for my annual art camp for little girls the past few months. I'll have about 26 girls coming in and out during a week in June. Lots of fun projects for the girlies! I've been organizing lately. Monday, December 22, 2014. A Little Winter Craft Idea. I've seen natural lotion bars in many boutiques lately. After searching on Pinterest and Stampington magazines, I decided to give them a try! I've used Altoid Tins in the past for containers. They work beautifully. These "Lotion Bars" were really simple to make! I gave these as gifts to my kindergarten teachers and office staff this year. The container is perfect to keep on their desks for a little boost during the day. They loved them!
