As I buckle my safety belt, I finally allow myself to lose my cool. A lonely tear trickles in the corner of my eye, then another one. Edith's changed quite a lot over the past year or so. She's gotten a bit plumber and tries to hide it behind those horrible clothes. He looks relaxed, standing there leaning on the door of his truck. The big, metallic buckle of his bootcut jeans reflects light into my eyes as I approach him.
