At a recent meeting resident Margaret Park informed residents and ratepayers to be on the lookout for a very invasive weed called. Also commonly known as caltrop, cat-head, puncture vine). WEMBLEY WEST LEEDERVILLE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION. Monday, December 10, 2007. Christmas at Lake Monger 5 December 2007. WWLRA teamed up with the West Leederville Residents Association and arrived at the Lake on Wednesday 5 December to set up 3 BBQs, 600 rolls and sausages. Alas, the weather gods were not with us. The sky darkened and the wind whipped up from the west. But showing true community spirit we persisted, turning sausages and tofu burgers in our rain gear! But don'y worry. We'll be there again...
