From academics in Cumbria and Lancashire shows that women are more likely to resort to violence in relationships with men then the other way round. This doesn’t surprise me at all, as it is the best-kept secret in domestic violence. Of course there is a political agenda at play to demonize men and criminalize male violence. The double standard is female violence is often condoned rather than condemned and excused rather than challenged.
