A Single Womans Journey to Motherhood and Beyond. June 15, 2015. Better Late Than Never. My adoption journey has taught (and still is teaching me) many things. One big lesson…PATIENCE. Waiting is hard! Come on Lord, what is the deal? I don’t have any kids to keep my mind occupied and I’d purchased a ton of baby stuff that I was looking at longingly. Would she even be able to fit these clothes or will I be having one massive garage sale? Somehow I had to pull myself out and it was time, probably past time.
