We walked around the campus, took some pictures and spent our few last minutes with the girls. We both stopped instantly and turned around. What were they doing? They were singing.Singing a song Liv had taught them earlier in the week. They were singing "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever".They were singing for us, but to Him. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Planes…Power…Perspective. Oh Yeah, and Rain. Alston, Me, Liv and Brian after church Sunday! Last Thursday afternoon we were at the airport headed to Africa. Within the first 3 hours of our journey we encountered a very delayed flight and sprinted through the Atlanta airport (that is not an exaggeration, I promise! 35 hours and 5 plane rides later…We made it to Mwanza! And drive through Mwanza. It definitely has been way too long since my last trip. The first building going up!

Saturday, June 11, 2011. Word on the Street. Can I just start out by saying that WOW, I'm tired. It definitely has been a long second week of summer, but it has been a really good one! It feels like I have been going none stop since last Sunday morning. Oh, wait.I feel like that because it's true! We definitely stayed busy this week! Yes, I have very colorful hair for a few weeks! Wow, it's been like 2 months since I've last written! This above is not necessarily something I'm dealing with right now, but rather an experience I've dealt with and a lesson I've learned. I'm no expert in dealing with the past, but it has certainly been a struggle of mine that I believe God has helped me persevere through. Rest is a good thing.

There were about 50 friends and family in the room, and he left this world with its problems, and its cancer, behind peacefully at 9:45. Troy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about two years ago. It recurred mid-2005, and Troy fought the disease valiantly in the months since. He did it well. Auf wiedersehen, friend. I'll see you later.
