Thursday, April 24, 2014. Easter and Birthday girl. We had a pretty busy Easter weekend this year and Elle's birthday fell on Easter sunday this year. We had an Easter egg hunt at Canebrake on good Friday and then we went home to dye our eggs. After a couple of hours at the pool the kids wanted to go build sand castles on the beach so we did. We went to have dinner at Mary Mahoney's where they brought Elle some tiramisu with a bday candle in it. Birdie decided to have a throw down in Mary Mahoney's.

Wednesday, August 20, 2014. First Day of Kindergarten. Another milestone has come and gone. Elle started kindergarten at Benedict Day School. She has been asking every day this summer when she gets to start and was so excited. I took her and walked her to her classroom the first day and she did great! Elle at her cubby with her self portrait she painted. Addy, Graham, Wyatt, and Elle- - all M&M crew! She saw her friends and let go of my hand and ran in. Her first day at lunch.all smiles.

Thursday, November 14, 2013. On Halloween night it was threatening to rain so we loaded the kids up in the back of Meredith's sequoia and set out a little early to Trick or Treat. We got to hit about 10 houses before the bottom fell out so it worked out good! My mom took the kids to Ocean Springs to the Peter Anderson Festival while I had a dental meeting in NOLA. They loved getting their faces painted. Elle came downstairs dressed for school like this! Working on her golf swing. Macie is Flipping Out.

Friday, November 21, 2014. Captain America girl and Superman to the rescue. Hitting up some houses. Oak Grove Family Dentistry halloween pic. Kids both had halloween functions at school that day so they dressed up. Fall festival at BDS. Some pics from her classes unit performance. Trunk or treat at our church. Monday, September 22, 2014. Sight Words and Chuck E Cheese. Elle had her sight word test this week so I told her if she could get more than 35 out of 40 we would go to Chuck E Cheese after school. Well you know this girl nailed it! We had a laid back weekend. Popcorn and movies on Friday night. Jay slept in Elle's bed for first time ever Friday nt and watched Peter pan. Got up Saturday and painted pictures and went swimming. Tested out our driving skills. Had to have the backwards MSU hat like daddy.

Tuesday, December 24, 2013. My mom brought an advent treat to my house for the kids and hung them up in the kitchen. She had 25 bags for Elle and 25 for Jay- -one for each day before Christmas. The kids have loved opening up a new present every day. Santa stopped by our house the other night after school and paid the kids a visit. Elle was loving him. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. We loaded up with Graham, Cece, Amy, and Luke and Thompson and hit up the Laurel fair. Elle and Graham were tall enough and brave enough to ride alot of the rides. Monday, February 24, 2014. Another valentine's day is in the books. Jay got a spiderman action figure and Elle got the doll "Anna" from Frozen and a princess dress just like Anna's. They had a valentine party that day at school so she had to take her new doll and wear her frozen dress. Elle had her first skating birthday party a few weeks ago. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Elle was out on Thursday, Friday, and Monday for fall break. Poor girl had the flu Wed and Thursday so we layed low. After that she was good to go and we had fun. Listening to music at Live at five downtown. Went to a farm and saw horses, pigs, goats, chickens, and kitty cats. Tried on our Halloween outfits. Elle wanted a cat.
