Oh Wait. Summers Over. September 20, 2014. September 22, 2014. It’s the third week of school. It’s 8:00 in the morning…. And I’m sitting here in my bitterly cold seat. Already not wanting to be here, the teacher says get out a pencil and paper! We’re taking a test. Hold up here – did I really just hear that? Math and candy corn don’t mix. September 28, 2014. September 30, 2014. There’s 125 pieces of candy corn per bag. How would I know that? The lesson learned was not to eat candy if it doesn’t belong to you. They began to pass the information onto their brothers and sisters. Now nobody has had a stomachache in math class for 9 years, because all the students know not to eat candy in math class. Oh Wait. Summers Over. September 20, 2014. September 22, 2014. Teachers Be Like…. October 5, 2014. Most teachers act like we’re going to need hard core math for the rest of our lives. Shoot! I hardly use math as it is! I feel like we only need to know the simple math like adding subtracting multiplying and dividing and if we need a calculator pull out your phone…. Who doesn’t have a phone these days? Most math is so uncalled for example above. 2x=(360/4) solve for x…. You solve for x I don’t have time for that. That will be the day I quit driving.
