Stories from the South. Monday, May 26, 2008. Winter in Parade Land. I experienced the first snow of the year in Coyhaique and it was amazing! All the volunteers were up in Coyhaique for the going away party of a volunteer from last year, Annie, who is amazing. After having some drinks with her in the local salsa joint we left to find the city blanketed in white…not just a little blanket but a down comforter blanket! Stories from the South. Thursday, May 15, 2008. So last weekend was action packed! Time goes quickly normally, but it is flying down here! Stories from the South. Monday, September 29, 2008. Wow…really getting good at the whole blog-slacker thing! September has come and gone, what a relief in many ways. September was full of competitions with students; anniversaries, parties and travel, and it flew by but was exhausting! So I am looking forward to a calmer October, although I have doubts that it will be any different. Keep your fingers crossed; if we win we are going on a free trip to. So again fingers crossed, chance of free trip north!

Stories from the South. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Week Two accomplished with lots of laughter and excitement! The kids here are really growing to love Miss Sarah and its fantastic to watch them open up and not be soo self concious when speaking english. They are still insanely self concious simply because they are 12 to 16 year old kids, but they are trying to speak and that is exciting!
