Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Last weekend, we loaded up the car (and new trailer) and took to the mountains for a short camping trip. We went to Teanaway, about a 2 hour drive from Seattle. Monday, July 20, 2015. 10 Months Old [Oliver]. Look who is 10 months old! The big themes this month have been mobility, communication, and free will. Oliver is fully walking now. He is able to get up and down without holding on to anything, can start and stop fairly well, and is starting to pivot. He is still faster crawling, although seems to favor walking. It's still a trip to see him waddling down the hall or across the room. He is also communicating so much, and boy is he vocal! Posted by Momma Merhar.

Sunday, September 21, 2014. We welcomed Oliver William to the world on Monday, September 15 at 4:30 AM. He was 8lb 4oz, 21 inches long, and he was born with a full head of hair. Mom and Oliver saying their first hellos. Checking out the world. Oliver was due September 10th, and we were starting to wonder how and when he would make his appearance. Would this baby ever come? Would he come fast like his brother, or would I have a more "normal" labor (if there is such a thing)? Here's how it all went down.

We got to skip the vaccines during the appointment seeing how she was running a 102 degree fever. Another little gem of a virus I'm sure she probably picked up at daycare. Life As I Know It. Monday, March 17, 2014. We spent all day Sunday baking cupcakes and cutting out construction paper shamrocks, pots of gold, and rainbows, getting everything prepped for the trap we were going to set. It was a really great little family project that we were all able to work on together. We set a trail to the "pot of gold" with gold and green shamrock coins. Hayden really got into it.
