Saturday, July 18, 2015. This is just outside the capital building. We couldn't have any food items in our bag so we stopped on the steps to eat our snacks. Benson loved chasing and looking at all of the birds and squirrels. Everyone that walked by loved watching Benson get so excited every time he saw an animal. These are some pictures from the Natural History Museum. One of my favorite places in the museum was the amazing pictures people had taken of nature and animals. Outside the White House. Simple ...

Thursday, August 20, 2015. We have loved having Uncle Austen here with us at our home. Just a record of what is happening. Man, it's so sweltering in here," she said recently. "I'm sweating.". SHE - being 22. WE - being in our 70's were wearing a sweater and a jacket. And, there you have it. One of the many differences between the young and the old. We like it hot, they like it cold. Good thing I have a lot of sweaters and jackets! Oh, I remember the olden days. The television had an on/off knob and a channel knob with a few numbers on the side of the tv. Those were the good old days.

Just a record of what is happening. My mother was a worrier. So, it is natural that the trait would be passed on to some of her posterity. Some have it worse than others. Some don't have that trait at all. But, it's an interesting thing to witness. In a person who is obsessive. It's hard to imagine living in one's body when the person is worried about. This person in my family needs help, badly. Hey, I am a worrier, but I'm not nearly as bad as this person in my family.). It Is Better.". My neighbor is s...

http://hackworthappenings.blogspot.com/2015/07/picnic-in-mountains.html
Just a record of what is happening. Picnic in the Mountains. It was a perfect day for a picnic in the mountains. Sun shining, crisp mountain air, good company, and traditional picnic food for all. Seated across the table from us were two ladies whom we had never met. Time to get acquainted. I've said it before and will say it again. EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL. And, RAH and I were spell bound by their intriguing story of a very successful business gone awry when they merged with a big name company.

Just a record of what is happening. RAH wants to move to Manila, Utah. Well, not full time. But, he wants to sell our lovely home in St George, downsize to a smaller home. And, then buy a home/property here in the remote town of Manila, Utah.population 900 (if we move in, it would be 902! The whole idea gives me a headache, hives, the tremors, upset stomach. The Whiner and the Energizer Bunny; a Study in Contrasts. We met her last year when we were here for a couple of months. I liked her instantly.
