Saturday, January 24, 2015. After we left Habersham we headed to Jay to celebrate Christmas with my fam.Paw Paw seriously has re-created my elementary school playground.it's awesome! Painting with Aunt Emily. PawPaw built all the kiddos a pretty sweet swing set thingy! Uncle D's chin-pony. Ewwwwwww! And then on to the big family Christmas fun. Grandma teaching the girlies on the piano. LOVE.this.woman! Grandma reading the Christmas story.like she has since I can remember :). And let the games begin!

It’s been 2 1/2 weeks since we celebrated our youngest baby girl turning 1 YEAR OLD! Caroline seemed to enjoy her cake and I’m pretty sure Poppy (Robyn’s dad) snuck her some ice cream, too. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Meeting Zara and Christmas in GA 2013. We had been praying for this sweet girl for months and months. The adoption process can be soooooooo long and hard. Lance and Julia finally were able to bring Zara home from Uganda in November of 2013. We had been anxiously waiting to meet her face to face in GA over Christmas break. Look at this preciousness! Last year (again.meaning 2013) was actually the first time we had ever made it to the Christmas Parade downtown- that's kind of crazy since we've lived here forever! The girls loved the parade, of course, and loved their face-painting even more! Reading the advent with the daddy. They were just a taaaad bit tired since it was like 4:30am :). Anxiously awaiting their "biiiiiiig present"! They were just a liiiiiittttlllleee excited :).

Saturday, January 24, 2015. I was really surprised at how good Grandparent's Day was at the girls' school. It was so sweet! Both K5's were together at first and did a singing program, then they went into their individual classrooms and did another program, they made tons of cute crafts for the grandparents, then had a big festival outside with games, blow-ups, face-painting and all kinds of crazy fun stuff. Saturday, January 24, 2015. I love the ATR! My fav race every year! And it was even more fabulous this go around because my awesome friend, Jennifer, was running her first ever 5K! I started training Jen in Jan 2014 and she has rocked it! Shay and I have ran a zillion ATR's together! I was so ticked! Haha I'm not competitive at.all. However, I was still excited to learn that I had ran my best 5K time AND placed 5th overall! Not bad I guess, but of course- it lit my fire for next time :). The girls are 6!
