http://thepiedmonts.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Wednesday, November 14, 2007. We are so proud of Jack! In the end and was the only "casualty" that we saw. Will found it all fascinating. You can see how Will, Ellen Claire and I support Jack in his running (with Starbucks, of course! Steamed vanilla milk warms a kid's body good on a frosty morning. Jack hates that they are already accustomed to Starbucks, courtesy. Of their mother. Can I help it if everything they have is SOOOOO. Thursday, November 1, 2007. Ellen Claire w...

The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Monday, May 19, 2008. Walk for Autism Now. We had a wonderful time at the Walk Now for Autism 5K walk yesterday! The weather was good- sunny some of the time, windy ALL of the time, cold- (well, we've decided that Chicago will never warm up. We're just going to blow through spring and summer and head right back to freezing cold. Thank goodness for Mississippi and Florida! But the weather was completely secondary to the event that we were privileged. Will and I faked a litt...

The Piedmonts' Great Adventure: July 2008
http://thepiedmonts.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Friday, July 11, 2008. Happy Birthday, Daddy/ Pop-Pop! Three years ago on July 4th, before we made the move to Chicago, Meg was at Camp Riverview and Jack was driving up to start the BP-Chicago job. That left a very sad Rosemary in Atlanta with a 9 month old baby and an active 6 year old boy. So I called my mama, as any good daughter would need to do! Mama didn't tell Daddy we were coming and it turned out to be the ONLY time we've ever been able to surprise him! We ended ...

The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Ok, so this isn’t Tampa (it’s actually the resort that “Couples Retreat” was filmed at in Bora Bora and is on my We MUST Go Here list for Jack! But considering the weather outside my window right now, it could be to us. This year, as y’all know, has been an interesting one for us. And, for now, it seems like we are finally making progress towards the next adventure in our family. Meg will be in Tallahassee and we will be in Tampa! Chicago is ou...

The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. We FINALLY have some Spring! We had to wait almost 4 weeks later than normal to have these beauties bloom, but boy was it worth the wait! With only 3 Peony bushes, I have cut and given away HUNDREDS of blooms! Well, maybe not hundreds, but a whole bunch! Put it like this, every night I go out and cut a bucket full of blooms, only to wake up the next morning with more unfurling! Tuesday, June 3, 2008. The girls would be just as happy! The third grade...

The Piedmonts' Great Adventure. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Http:/ www.shortpics.com/Soccer/2010-U12-Prowlers/110610-Prowlers-vs-Challenger/14541832 XB3Q2#1080365729 d7MqB-A-LB. We had a busy fall! With two kids in soccer and one busy cheering, we spend a lot of time on different fields. I figured out one week that we had 3 practices for Will, 1 for Ellen Claire, 3 soccer games, 3 nights of practice for Meg and a Friday night football game. I don’t know how people do multiple sports! Chicago is our 5th...
