Saturday, October 11, 2014. Bailey Chair - Part 1. Is it finallyfood time? Start with clean bottles. These are pastry bottles that I got from a local store for $4.99 for two of them. I cut off the tips most of the way down to allow the larger chunks of food to pass through. A funnel makes it easy to pour his food in. Cody takes meds with his meals, so those are added in. Add in some water to make a soupy-slurry. Grab some cheese to reinforce him remaining in the chair after he eats. Mostly on his own now!

Thursday, January 31, 2013. I found a surprise for Cody in a closet - a food puzzle I had forgotten about! This is an easy puzzle similar to the Nina Ottoson Tornado. And is a good one to start dogs on. Cody is turning into a puzzle master, so this wasn't a challenge for him. Monday, December 31, 2012. Visiting Karrah and Eric, Part One. Karrah and Eric are fellow foster parents, and you may remember them as the original foster parents for beautiful Lucia. We stopped by one night to let Cody meet with their wonderful dogs for some socialization. Circling to greet each other. Getting to know each other's scent. Grabbing a ninja sniff. Greetings done, Cody starts to explore. Cody also spent some time with Karrah. Cody sniffs her over while Karrah avoids looking directly at him.

That I understand their ethology and psychology, and that I know how to train them to encourage them to work alongside me. He is joining his new dog sister Zoila and his awesome parents on the east coast. The moment Oliver and his new dad met, they were over the moon for each other. Risha has been adopted by a wonderful family who can give her just what she needs: someone home much of the time, people experienced with rescued dogs, lots of visiting grandchildren, and another Rat Terrier to hunt with in the fenced yard who can teach her the ropes at her new home.
