Round The Bend: Wild Birds: Canada Geese
http://carlettasroundthebend.blogspot.com/2015/05/wild-birds-canada-geese.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Wild Birds: Canada Geese. Baby geese in the shade and away from some circling crows. This little guy seemed a little older and was swimming in the water. He was the only one of his size. He waded in the water and seemed to enjoy it. I think the little guy on the left was trying to tell me something. :). Linking to Wild Birds with Stewart. Oh how adorable. What wonderful photos! May 12, 2015 at 2:20 AM. Wonderful series of cute shots. May 12, 2015 at 3:23 AM. May 12, 2015 at 4:18 AM.

The {Happy} Travel Bug: Nice, France in the French Riviera
http://www.happytravelbug.com/2015/07/nice-france-in-french-riviera.html
The {Happy} Travel Bug. A travel blog from the perspective of a wife, mom, history buff, and foodie who loves to travel, eat and photograph it all. Nice, France in the French Riviera. This was my first glimpse of Nice as we came in on an excursion with our cruise line. The plan was to do a sight seeing drive thru the city and then get off the bus and tour a french flower market on foot. Did you know that Thomas Jefferson has ties to France? He was minister to France from 1785-89. I have a fascination wit...

Birding For Pleasure: June 2015
http://birdingforpleasure.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Enjoy the great outdoors of nature and birds in particular. Tuesday, 30 June 2015. WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Tory Island (Part 2). These are some of the birds I came across on my first day walking round Tory Island in May this year. Enjoy. Oystcatchers breed on the island (above) as do the Lapwing (below). Ringed Plover are also found (not easily due to the terrain as seen in yesterday’s post) but they do breed here. There are lots of Wheatear and nearly always out of range of my camera for descent shots.

http://tobeholdthebeauty-al.blogspot.com/2015/08/dragonflies-woodpeckers-and-swallowtail.html
To Behold the Beauty. Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Dragonflies, Woodpeckers, and Swallowtail. I hope I'm not wearing anyone out with my dragonfly photos; but 'tis the season, you know. And I do find them fascinating. I've purchased a book to help me with identification and will do my best to get it right. I'm open to corrections, though. These photos were all taken at Ouabache State Park in July. Male Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly. Male Blue Dasher Dragonfly. Male Widow Skimmer Dragonfly. Out on the prairie.
