I had a check up with the surgeon today… Everything is aces! He told me to make an appoitment with the orthodontist…. HOORAY! As for eating… he told me that next week I could eat what I’ve been eating, but to “chew” it, I suppose to get those muscles going. The following week is soft chew! Whatever. I. Want. WhateverIWant! Saturday, 12 September 2009. Just a word about my retainers, the only remnant left to remind me of the last couple of years (that, and the screws in my face that I can feel just below my eyes! I'll be wearing them permanently for about 4 months, then just at night for about 2 months hopefully. I'm now having to brush my teeth about 5 times a day! On October 10th, I saw my ortho and he did molds of my teeth to send to the surgeon so he can decide if I am getting close for surgery. He also put on power chains to close some gaps.
